Gollon Brothers Wholesale Live Bait, is a fifth-generation family-owned business that has been a cornerstone of the North American fishing industry for over 100 years. Headquartered just five miles northeast of Stevens Point, WI, we have built a reputation as one of the only minnow wholesalers with comprehensive experience in all aspects of the trade, including farm-raising bait fish, importing and exporting, and harvesting directly from the wild. This unique expertise allows us to deliver the highest quality minnows, leeches, worms and larvae to wholesalers and bait shops throughout North America, providing our customers a reliable supply of superior products.

Taking the family name to the next level from our Uncle Carl “Sonny Gollon”, the past 30 years have been exponential, leading us to create a state-of-the-art facility that meets strict water quality, volume, and drainage requirements essential for producing top-tier minnows.

We pride ourselves on offering the largest selection of high-quality minnows, leeches, worms and larvae in the region. We service regional distributors across the northern United States, including the states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Missouri. For smaller wholesale orders, we offer delivery within a three-hour radius, while larger bulk orders are available for nationwide delivery. We also service Canada and Europe with select products.

We offer a wide variety of live species include Fathead Minnow, Emerald Shiner, Golden Shiner, Rosy Red Fathead, White Sucker Minnow, Creek Chub, Common Shiner, Redtail Chub, Water or Ribbon Leeches, Nightcrawlers, Panfish Worms or Red Worms, Wax Worms and Spikes or Maggots. We also have Packaged Frozen Emerald Shiner Minnows available.

Based just five miles northeast of Stevens Point, WI, we have built a reputation as one of the few bait wholesalers with comprehensive experience in all aspects of the trade, including farm-raising bait fish, importing and exporting, and harvesting directly from the wild. This unique expertise allows us to deliver the highest quality live bait to wholesalers and bait shops throughout Wisconsin and beyond, providing our customers with the best products as often as conditions allow.

Our evolution over the past 30 years has been exponential, leading us to create a state-of-the-art facility that meets the strict water quality, quantity, and drainage requirements essential for producing top-tier bait. After almost a decade of searching for the perfect location, we now operate out of a facility designed to ensure the best environment for our bait production. Our advanced operations, combined with a dedicated fleet of trucks, enable us to transport live bait efficiently and reliably to our clients, ensuring freshness and quality upon delivery.

We pride ourselves on offering the largest selection of high-quality live bait in the region, supplying local wholesalers and bait shops across most of Wisconsin. In addition, we serve regional distributors across the northern U.S., including states like Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Michigan. Our wide variety of live bait includes species such as white suckers, golden shiners, sucker minnows, redtail chubs, creek chubs, emerald shiners, forage minnows, leeches, rosie red fatheads, and worms. In addition to live bait, we supply worm castings, available in 30lb bags or by the ton, and worm bedding for various applications. Frozen bait options are also available for customers who need preserved products for extended use.
